Prof. Bourhis is Professor and the Chief of Radiation Oncology at Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) since 2012. He was previously Chairman of Radiation Oncology at the Institute Gustave Roussy (Villejuif, France), one of Europe's most prominent Cancer Centers.
He has been Director of a laboratory dedicated to Translational Research in Radiation Oncology for fifteen years and has authored more than 300 scientific papers.
Prof. Bourhis' clinical focus is on radiation oncology head and neck cancers, and he is chairman of the GORTEC, a cooperative group dedicated to head and neck oncology.
Prof. Bourhis is past President of the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO), and the ESTRO Cancer Foundation, and currently serves as SASRO President.

Raphaël Moeckli is the Head of the Radiation Therapy Group at the Institute of Radiation Physics and head Physicist of Radiation Oncology at Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) since 2001. He is a Senior Lecturer and Privat Docent in Lausanne University. Raphaël obtained his Ph.D. in medical imaging at the University of Lausanne in 2001, and is a certified Swiss medical physicist since 1999.
He is past president of the Swiss Society of Radiobiology and Medical Physics and has been active in different groups, having issued Swiss recommendations about good practice in radiation therapy.
Raphaël’s main research areas are FLASH Therapy, TomoTherapy, and multicriteria optimization, and he has published more than 60 papers in peer-reviewed journals.

Marie-Catherine Vozenin is an Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology and the Chief of Radiation Oncology Research Lab at Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) since 2013. She is also currently an Adjunct Professor at the University of California in Irvine.
Dr. Vozenin's research group has pioneered developing innovative approaches to increase the therapeutic ratio of radiation therapy. Her recent path-breaking work on FLASH-RT has shown excellent tumor kill efficacy associated with protective effects on the normal tissue.
Marie-Catherine completed her Ph.D. in oncology and radiobiology at the University of Paris-SUD. She has published over 100 publications in peer-reviewed journals with over 20 dedicated to the exploration of FLASH-RT.
